Question before the Court
Whether the Prudential test case determined the limitation start date for claims within the group litigation and whether the court could direct that its decision on the set-off issue should not bind the insurers’ claims.

Infrastructure Services Luxembourg SÀRL and another v Kingdom of Spain
Question before the Court
Whether the ICSID Convention constitutes prior submission to English jurisdiction and, in Spain’s appeal, whether a valid arbitration agreement also displaced state immunity when the award was registered.
Why it matters
A leading international-arbitration and enforcement decision concerning state immunity, treaty awards and the English court’s obligations under the ICSID regime; it was heard with the linked Zimbabwe appeal.

Question before the Court
Whether regulation 28(3) of the Russia sanctions regime prohibited a German bank’s London branch from paying under letters of credit supporting aircraft leases, and whether section 44 of the 2018 Act protected the bank from civil liability.
