Alexander began at the English Bar before joining Misick & Stanbrook in 2011, becoming a partner in 2012, and later practising as a principal at Kobre & Kim. Alexander has been called to the Bar of England and Wales (2000), Turks and Caicos (2011), the Cayman Islands (2015) and the British Virgin Islands (2016).
Alexander holds a BA from Newcastle University, completed the CPE and BVC at the College of Law, and holds LLM degrees from the University of Surrey and NYU Law. Alexander's NYU studies included US corporate law, bankruptcy, cross-border insolvency, financial services and corporate governance. Alexander completed the STEP examinations with distinction and is STEP qualified. Alexander is a member of the Chancery Bar Association and COMBAR.
Alexander's career has also included work within an investment business addressing regulatory and corporate-governance matters. This complements Alexander's experience as a partner in offshore practice and as a principal at a New York law firm.
Alexander's recent appellate work includes Syspal Capital Ltd v Truman [2025] EWCA Civ 469 and Servis-Terminal LLC v Drelle (No. 2) [2025] EWCA Civ 698.
